(spoilers if you haven’t seen All Dogs Go To Heaven I guess!)
okay so I often think of this scene because I think it is one of the most beautiful scenes in any movie ever, animated or otherwise, but wow does it make me sob. good thing they lightened the mood a bit in the credits but damn I still weep like a baby with a wicked diaper rash. and yet I can’t stop watching it. I had forgotten about a lot of this until I rented it a year or two ago, and when I did I definitely had to rewind and watch this scene more than once. I’m thinking now this movie is a big reason why I have such a fascination with heaven/angels/depictions of the afterlife.
