Awesome! My name’s Erin L., I’m 24 years old and an openly bisexual artist who’s also an art student in a program focused on contemporary gallery art (not comics or illustration, boo). I just started Oasis, an idea that I started planning in my early teens, back in late May and have been going along pretty slowly with it thus far. Otherwise I really haven’t made any comics since I was in elementary school, and also can’t say I’ve shared my art very extensively until now. But I don’t intend to stop making comics anytime soon. Oasis will take me years and I have other ideas to go through after that.
Oh yes, and I suppose it’s worth mentioning that I write extensively about LGBTQ characters. Oasis is a romance that’s centered mostly around a gay couple, and the ideas I currently have for future works involve lesbian characters/couples and at least one transgender character.
I’m gonna open up art requests for a little while. you can submit them to my ask box. I haven’t spent a decent amount of time drawing in awhile now because of school and I need to get back into it. I’m thinking about doing one for the next 10 days as a Christmas thing and to get warmed up everyday, but let’s see what I get.
submit as many as you like, I’ll only be deciding which ones to do based on which ones I’m most interested in. they won’t be anything too fancy, I might even give myself a time limit on each. I’d prefer it if they were for things that I’m already interested in (based on what you’ve seen me post in this blog) or drawings of my original characters.
